While I am favour of accuracy in general, I think it is our job as individuals to decide whether we should leak that information.

In this case, I think it was bad to break the embargo and leak, certainly in big size.

A fascinating article and nice illustration of the power -- and responsibility -- of betting markets.

One very minor addendum/correction: The article implies that the statement was first publicly shared at 10:30am (BST) by CAIS on Twitter. However the NYT piece on the statement was originally published at 10:01am (BST) and known to the market minutes later, accounting for the flurry of activity prior to the tweet by CAIS.
